If you were asked to recommend one destination in your country to LiveJournal friends who had never been to your country before, what place would you choose, and why?

That would probably be either Biskupin or salt mines in Bochnia or Wieliczka.
Biskupin is a fortified settlement originally built in Iron Age. It is believed that it's remains (pieces of wood) had been found by a teacher in the Biskupin Lake. Not only has the settlement been completely rebuilt, but it also hold a Viking festival in September every year.

The Salt mines in Bochnia and Wieliczka date back to 12th and 13th century. Bochnia Salt Mine is the oldest one in Poland and one of the oldest ones in the world. Visiting both of them is a great experience as there are many interesting things to see such as underground churches chapels and sculptures made of pure salt. One can also tour the Bochnia Mine in a small electric train thingy.

The air in the mine totally helped my lungs. I had an asthma attack when I was there and after couple of minutes or breathing the salty air I felt so much better.

Imagine you manage a coven of baseball-playing vampires. The Cullen family is really strong this year and you want to bring in a ringer. Which currently active MLB baseball player do you sire?

I don't care, actually I just wanted to say that this is probably the most idiotic writer's block I've ever seen. Shame on you LJ.
And by the way, my aura's colour varies from turquoise, to bright blue, to electric blue.
Fuck that shit, it should be yellow or green.

FUCK YEA!!!!!!!! I'VE GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm a shop-assistant in my aunt's shop, here, in my shithole of a village (population 102).
I've worked 10 hours today and NEVER in my ENTIRE life had I been more bored. The only exciting moments were when the dog I have to take care of run way 3 times (or 4, I don't remember) and I run around the village screaming profanities (he won't react to anything else), and when these two hilarious guys came. I even started reading Doctor Zhivago again.
In moments like these I wish I had a laptop.

I wonder how long will it take for me to go insane.

I don't know either, Sylar.

There was a boy.
Let's call him Peter.
He was an ordinary 13 year old kid. Nothing special. He went to school, disliked it, had a group of friends with whom he played. Peter liked football, his favourite team was Manchester United. He wished one day he would see them play.
For some unknown reason Peter had to go to Germany. He was very excited for he has never been abroad. His mother was a little worried, though. There was this thought in the back of her head that was telling her letting her only son go all by himself was a bad idea.
Finally the day comes. Peter can hardly sit still, he was that excited. He's going by plane! How awesome is that? He used to tell his friends. His mother still couldn't help but feel uncertain.
Some people say women have some kind of intuition. Peter's mother never believed it. Until now.
Peter disappeared. Nobody has seen him after he got of the plane. Both German ad Polish police searched for him. There was no trail, no witnesses, nothing. Accidentally, the policeman stumbled upon an unindentified corpse of a boy. What a macabre find that was. The was not a single drop of blood in the body. Just as if a vampire attacked to poor boy. The boy. It was Peter.
He was not so ordinary after all. He died because he had a rare blood type. Apparently a rich businessman needed it and paid someone (Ukrainians, it's believed) to well, find him some.

I found out about the boy from my English teacher. She said it happened about 5 years ago, and that the boy used to go to the same school as I did. I find it weird that I haven't heard about it earlier. Neither did my parents.
Seems that even you organs and blood can be stolen.

I... uh. I am going insane. I. don't. know.
I've never been one of those people who get overly excited about something as unimportant as TV. Okay, maybe when I was a kid and addicted to this one cartoon, I don't even remember the title now. Anyway, I'm laughing at myself right now because it's just sooo ridiculous.
Heroes season 4.
The main thing I am freaking about is Sylar being Nathan, whatever. It's one of the most idiotic things that ever happened on Heroes. I mean, what it's gonna be? Nathan with some Sylarness? Nathan during the day, turning Sylar at night? Why the hell do I keep spelling "Nethan"? Maybe because I had too much sugar today? ICU, diabetes, ICU. Back on topic. A little bit like a werewolf? I don't buy it at all. Give me back my favourite psycho killer, this is not going to be the same without him.
Other than that and little stuff I definitely did not like (Elle and Daphne dying, for example), I CAN'T WAIT.
~*~
Party tomorrow. Ugh.
I'm so not getting drunk again. Except that I probably will end up "under influence" again. That's always K's fault! Damn that girl. She always gets me to do what she wants.

Sometimes certain things happen.
You wake up and everything looks so different, yet familiar. Even your mother, she's still the same person you've seen almost every day for a large part of your life. And then you look at her and you don't see your mother any more. You see past her. You see a small, vulnerable girl who is unsure and terrified, who struggles with present and fears the future. Seems like you didn't know her that well, did you?
This is only one of the things that become clear.
There are no limits, there's nothing that can stop you anymore.
That's because you're not what you thought you were.
You were something, but you become nothing.

And nothing is Everything.

So I was about to write an entry about something I found out earlier this week, whatfrankly speaking left me in a state that 'wtf' describes best.
But, well, I was at A and Mole's 18th birthday party and I got drunk with K and did some stupid shit , which I have to fix or something.

Yeah and a little advice: NEVER get on merry-go-round while drunk. REsu;ts in getting puked on/puking.
I saw that and it wasn't pretty.

This is nothing like planned, not the slightest bit. I'm not saying it's going in the wrong direction, for there's no right or wrong, only different. And unrequired maybe. Different and unrequired. This is nothing like planned, not the slightest bit. I did everything I could to prevent this, hmmm... let's call it series of events. Well, I admit, I did not imagine one small action will cause so many various and contradictory reactions. I'm surprised and it is not easy to surprise me. When I realised it slipped, it was already too late and I still tried to pull the remaining strings.
But you can't stop the avalanche, can you?

I did my best and I refuse to feel guilty.

The air's buzzing. Something's gonna happen and I bet it's going to be big.

When was the last time you stayed up all night? What were you doing?

My classmates and I were coming home from a trip (mountains, this kinda stuff,
which was just an excuse for most of us to get drunk 5 day in a row. Back on topic, I stayed up all night with Worm, listening to music he recently recorded (he plays drums and piano). We got kicked out of our train compartment, for talking too loud.

Oh no, oh no, oh NO.
This is it! I'm officially pissed. It's been windy for about 3 days and normally I wouldn't have a problem with it (even though my hair looks awful windswept), but electricity goes on and off every 30 minutes or so.
Just when I most need it. great.
On the other hand, it makes you realise how essential electicity has become.
Want some tea? Oh sorry, there's no electricity, I can't even boil water.

Sad.
